According to Donald Trump, if Moscow or Kyiv “make it very difficult” to establish a peace agreement, the US would “take a pass” on mediating any Russia-Ukraine negotiations. His remarks were made only hours after US Secretary of State Marco Rubio threatened to end the negotiations unless there were unmistakable movement within a few days. Rubio stated that the United States has “other priorities to focus on” and that “we’re not going to continue with this endeavour for weeks and months on end.
