Ferrari, the Italian manufacturer of high-end sports cars, said on Thursday that it will increase the price of select models in the US by as much as 10%. The price increases, which go into effect on April 2, are the first tangible reaction from a European automaker to the auto tariffs imposed by the Trump administration. Based on the preliminary information currently available regarding the introduction of import tariffs on EU cars into the USA,” the company said, it would revise its commercial policy.

US President Donald Trump signed a declaration on Wednesday imposing 25% tariffs on auto imports, aimed at “all cars that are not made in the United States. ” All of Ferrari’s automobiles are produced in Maranello, in northern Italy.

Depending on the model, the price increases are expected to raise costs from $25,000 (€23,160) to $350,000 (€324,200).

The business also stated that a “50 basis points reduction on profitability percentage margins” is a risk associated with its financial targets for 2025.

In 2024, Ferrari recorded a net profit of €1.5 billion, a 21.3% increase over the previous year. Its operating profit margin increased by 7% year over year to 28.3%. For 2025, the corporation projected revenue of about €7 billion, a 5% increase over the previous year.
